Andrew J. Scott, III, President, is a proven police executive with over 30 years of experience in police and law enforcement matters. While serving as Chief of Police for Boca Raton, Florida, Mr. Scott was at the forefront in developing innovative law enforcement programs for crime prevention, police training, and use of force.

Court Approved Police Expert

Mr. Scott has been qualified in both state and federal courts as an expert in police practices and procedures. Specifically, he can evaluate police policies and procedures in regard to excessive force, use of TASER® Weapons, police line-ups, police pursuits, car chases, and wrongful death. He has testified on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.

Mr. Scott is regularly featured as an expert commentator and analyst on national television networks and programs, including Nancy Grace, CNN, MSNBC, FOX, ABC, CBS, and NBC. He is also interviewed frequently on radio talk shows and in newspapers throughout the country on police matters involving use of force, police pursuits, and car chases.

Executive Police Leadership

Mr. Scott actively participated in an FBI anti-terrorism task force, multi-agency anti-gang efforts, and police forensic committees during his work as Chief of Police for the City of Boca Raton, Florida, and Assistant Police Chief for North Miami Beach, Florida. He is a leader in the area of police department accreditation.

His police career accomplishments include: development of the International Center for Leadership and Development (ICLAD); nationally acclaimed police recruitment techniques, such as the "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" campaign; “I Prevent Crime" crime prevention program presented at the IACP 2005 Annual Conference; and serving as Chair of the Palm Beach County Law Enforcement Council's committee on developing a county-wide TASER® Weapon use policy for Palm Beach County, which was recognized by the IACP at its Annual Conference in Miami.

Mr. Scott continues to be actively involved in national, state and local law enforcement associations, including the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), The Police Executive Research Forum (PERF), Florida Police Chiefs Association (FPCA), and Palm Beach County Association of Chiefs of Police.
